good2Bking
Anyone know what size speakers fit in the doors of a '13 Edge SEL (standard sound system)? Amazon is indicating that 5x7 and 6x8 are both compatible; specifically I'm looking at the Kenwood KFCC5794PS and KFC-C6894PS Performance Series 3-Way Car Speakers. P.S Anyone have these and if so, how do they sound compared to the factory speakers?
akirby
Almost anything is an upgrade. 5x7/6x8 both fit.
good2Bking
Anyone out there have an idiot-proof "how-to" on removing the front and rear door panels so I can get to the speakers?

good2Bking
Okay, I'm ready to attack this. Buying myself the Kenwood speakers for Father's Day. I don't want to cut and solder wiring. Anyone know what specific door speaker plug and play speaker wiring adapter I need to pick up for the '13 Edge SEL? I can't find the one I need. Is it the Metra 72-5600? Amazon says it won't work for the '13 Edge and the Metra site is useless. Also I'm reading about polarity issues with the Metra plug and play speaker adapter. Did anyone have that problem? Can someone tell me what speaker wiring adapter to get?
candurin
Yes, those metras are the ones you want. Im using them in my 2012 with no issues.
candurin
I forgot to add, you simply need to reverse the wires when connecting the metras adapters in the edge.
good2Bking
Thanks much! Especially for the heads-up on the polarity.
