Mine was a Nissan pulsar(can't remember year). It had t-tops which I thought were pretty cool at the time. I miss the simplicity of cars back then. I don't care for all the new technology on newer vehicles(I'm sure I'm in the minority) Seems like more stuff likely to break and be costly to repair.
I have never even used or touched the keypad since I've owned it. I'm used to older vehicles which just used regular keys lol. I was given a card with the code(from ford) so I'll have to try it
I let my vehicle cool off for a couple minutes so I left the keys in the vehicle(100 degree day). When I returned to it I found that all the doors were locked with the keys inside the running car. Luckily I was at home when this occurred and got the extra set out of my safe. I know its not recommended to leave a car running due to thefts but I have two young children and don't want to put them in a hot car. Has anyone else experienced this with their edge?
Yup you hit the nail on the head. Not trying to knock the edge by no means. Just don't think its right for me. I was debating between a new grand Cherokee or edge for several months and took several test drives.
I've only had my 16 edge for 2 weeks and I already regret purchasing it. The vehicle runs very smooth and no problems yet but wish I had a larger vehicle now. I feel quite cramped in it(I do have 2 kids in car seats though) My mpg is good so far at about 23.5 mix of city/hwy however I feel I'm having to fill up quite frequently. I am also having a hard time getting used the sync 3 and all the technology but i am used to driving older vehicles. My previously vehicles were a 2008 grand Cherokee(which i loved) and a 2009 escape(basically was a lemon). I think a crossover is just not my thing and i'm just now realizing that unfortunately. Although the edge is a beautiful vehicle I can't see myself owning it for a long time.
I need a whole set of high quality ones. I have two young children and want to protect the interior much as possible. Do the huskys cover most of the the floor? The weathertechs had a snug fit but just looked worn out after 3 years. I am a low mileage driver and washed them regularly. Thanks for the replys everyone!
There's not much difference in price. After just a couple years, dirt embedded in the weathertechs i had which wouldn't come out even with cleaning or scrubbing them. They were the tan ones though. I need black this time..may try another set.
I have owned my 16 ruby red sel for just 5 days and i can't find any flaws with fit and finish yet. Drove 3 hours back home mostly on interstate and performed very well.
I had the same concerns when I was searching my new edge. I chose the 3.5 even though the 2.0 seemed to drive better. The ford lots local to me have more 2.0 in stock so I had to drive 3 hours to find 3.5 with the color I wanted which is ruby red. Only owned for 5 days but happy so far. Good luck with your search!
I purchased 16 edge sel and I'm looking for recommendations for floor mats besides the weathertech which I've had before in an escape and didn't think they were worth the money(I'm sure many will disagree). I'm thinking of trying huskys.
The ones that came with the vehicle dont cover much. Tia
