jeffreybehr
I'm surprised I've not seen that here already. My Porsche Cayenne Turbo with off-pavement package arrived with black lower panels and looked so not-good I had them painted. It looks MUCH better that way. ------------------------------------------------------- Have finally found 3 Edges across the country that meet my requirements. Two are fairly close to Phoenix--Reno, NV and Ogden, UT--and one's in Kentucky. As soon as I get a deposit on my Cayenne, I'll buy the one in Ogden, if it's still there. HokieOnTheEdge
It looks like you didn't get the sides done. Any particular reason? I like the way the black looks on mine. Don't have any plans to change that.

jeffreybehr
Mine are done, and I LOVE the way it looks. I decided not to have the door bottoms and rockerpanels painted, and I think that was the right decision. Tomorrow, another muffler to eliminate the droning, and next week, maybe new grilles and rear-door woofers. jeffreybehr
Hardhawk: "May I ask why you decided not to paint the lower doors and rocker panels? Just curious." It was just a hunch...maybe that the black-center wheels would look better sort of not between all-copper body color. The more I look at the broadside pic, the more I think either treatment does/will look great. Frankly, I'm surprised Ford isn't doing this to the '08 Limited. How did they prepare the panels?

jeffreybehr
Yes, it's an '04 Turbo that I owned for 4 years and had about 60,000 miles on it when I sold it to my nephew. He too loves it. It was the 1st car in 45 years of car ownership that had enough power. I bought it for its off- and on-pavement excellence, but then I quit landscape fotografy and off-pavement driving and felt I was wasting it (and premium gasoline, too). Here are a few more pics. This is Como Lake in SW CO. The 1st 2 are north of Como on the Alpine Loop. http://gorp.away.com/gorp/activity/byway/co_alpi2.htm

Abrannan19
nice..My father in law is a customer service liaison at Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville Florida.. I love the Cayennes..they are bad ass..the one I want is a 109k...it will be a while..LOL For me though it would be hard to go from a Porsche to a Ford though.. although they have nothing but bad reviews..
