Text Messaging with new update (temporarily)

I installed the new MyFordTouch update last week. It does wonders for the overall reponsiveness and navigating the system.

My gripe is that I had flawless text messaging (incoming and sending) for about three days after the upgrade.

Now it does work at all. I have rebooted, unpaired, reverse paired, etc. and can't get it back. My Ford dealership is clueless as to why.

Any ideas on what to do to get it back??

Did you try rebooting/resetting the phone?

I am wondering if you touched something (seemingly unrelated) in MFT that affected your texts. Master Reset.....? On a possibly related note, I had a few little things that I thought changed after a few days of using the system. I dont really remember, they were minor and the change was better. But I remember thinking "oh, that is new."

I upgrade as well last week, I have a droid bionic. Txt messaging worked for a couple days then stopped. I pulled the battery from my phone to reset it and txt messaging works perfectly now. I now get photos of contacts on the screen for txt messages as well as phone calls.. I now can bluetooth stream music via google music and the artists and song titles match on my phone and on the screen. I do not get the album art work though.

The new upgrade is working much better with my Bionic phone.
