Expedition was super for hauling our kids stuff back and forth the college. Only have 1 in college now, he has a house, so keeps his stuff at the house no need for a big hauler, but we still like the Independence of having an "SUV" should the need arise to bring something home. I'm using Jill Wagner for my Avatar. She's part of the Ford family, albeit the LM side. My Name: Drdisk. No I'm not a Chiropractor. I'm a computer disk (storage) sales executive for a large computer company. Why the Dr. ? My last name is the same as the first medical college in the USA. We just got back from a 4k+ mile vacation crusing in ours and she made the trip beautifully. Got 25.4 mpg (crusing 72-80 mph) on the highways from Texas thru the hills of Virginia up to Grand Traverse Bay area in Michigan and back with 2 adults and (1) 11year old and a back filled with alot of luggage. Welcome Drdisk....I too had a 1999 Expedition Eddie Bauer that I loved, I just didn't need a big truck anymore.
