I've been wanting this car ever since I saw the first commercial with the Edge driving around on the skyscraper ledges :-) I'm a die-hard Ford fan and this is only my third car. My first was a'91 Ford Escort GT and my second was an'01 Ford Taurus that I am bequeathing to my teenage son (with 240,000 miles on it) :-) So I figured I could justify the expense since I'm able to keep my Fords so long <3 Absolutely every piece of advice is appreciated-this car is amazing! The wife had a 2001 Taurus, was a great car, too. Fords I have had - used ones were -1966 Fairlane GT conv, 1959 Galaxie 500 2 dr hdtp, 1964 T'bird. New ones- 1988 Taurus LX, 1992 Taurus LX, 1993 Taurus SHO, 1995 Explorer XLT, 1996 Taurus SEL, 1998 Taurus Limited, 2001 Taurus, 2002 Explorer Limited, 2005 Five Hundred limited, 2006 Explorer Limited, 2007 Five Hundred Limited, Now it's 2009 Lincoln MKS & 2012 Lincoln MKX.
