Bought a 2011 Edge Limited AWD in August and so far so good. Everything seems to be working ok even though the MFT sometimes does something strange but works itself out. Over all I am satisfied so far and like the vehicle. I have my ipod plugged in with over 5000 songs and it plays them with no problem and shows album covers. My iphone 3gs will not show contact photos or do text messaging but this was no big deal to me any way.

On a different subject I live in London Canada and I have received my notice in the mail about the MFT upgrade. Out of curiosity I went to my dealership to ask about it and I knew more about the upgrade then anyone there did. My Edge is still under warranty so I asked if it would be better to let them do the MFT upgrade and they said it doesn't matter if the dealership performs the upgrade it is $115.00. Not very good customer goodwill.They also didn't know if those with nav got a new sdcard.

My dealer told me that when I get the update in the mail, call them and they will do it and make sure that everything updates correctly. That's what I call customer satisfaction - kudo's to Maplecrest Ford/Lincoln in Union, NJ.

All dealers will do the upgrde for free and will be paid by Ford to do it. The letter you recieve will

tellyou how to do it yourself or to take it to the dealer. Ford does not want any bad press due to

the upgrade.
