Jlamb
How are you folks organizing mp3s on your USB flash drives? Do you just dump individual tracks on the drive or do you organize them in folders? The system seems to handle it either way, but I was just wondering if there were any advantages to various methods. I tag all the music properly, and then dump them into the root of the USB drive. it seems to have less issues and work faster as there is no overhead of having folders for each album when I only have 1-2 songs from a particular album. MFT doesn't seem to care about the folder or filenames, just the tag information in the .mp3 files, however all my files are named with a"lbum - artist - song name.mp3" M.
