jlyon
The only reason for the increase in mileage is because you were experiencing misfire from the old plugs--- sorry, just now getting back on here after a long hiatus. but, no, i was not experiencing a misfire. it ran a smooth as a babies butt, before and after the plug swap. that vehicle never gave me a problem. i was very skeptical myself with spending that much on plugs, but that is what i got. on trips from Dallas to San Antonio, i would get 30 mpg @ 70 mph. when i started a new job, i drive 121 toll road and it has way too many "hills" on it and that made my mpg drop like a rock, down to 23.5. after the pulstar plugs, it jumped to 26.5 average. i will let yall know what happens after i install these pulstars in my edge. my wife is getting around 22 mpg with her commute.
