merleahughes
I just bought a 2010 Edge w/ leather power seats. My wife is complaining that the front of the driver's seat is too high even at its lowest setting. It causes her leg pain and she can't keep her foot on the floor unless she moves the seat up so far she's practically on top of the steering wheel. HELP! JOEHIO
Try having her raise the back part of the seat up a bit, maybe it's set too low. Joe
Theakerr
I have a 2010 AWD Edge LTD. It may be the seat a design/manufacturing issue rather than the seat height. I am 6; 11/2" (and shrinking) and I too have a similar problem, especially on long journeys. I have played around with all the settings and can minimise it. Despite what Ford says, I cannot help but suspect that he seats have been "redesigned" or supplied by "a lower cost manufacturer". I did not have this issue in my 2008 AWD Ltd and both my wife and I feel that the seats in the 2010 are not as comfortable as the 2008 and the electric heat is not as well distributed as it was on the 2008. It could also be that we are simply a few years older!
JOEHIO
Haven't had any problem finding a comfortable position with the seats in my "X", as a matter of fact, so much more comfortable than the seats in my '06 Explorer.
