Some also want to remove the oval blue logo (sorry Ford). I love the Raptor grill which does it all! Have any one ever looked into a way to get that look on the Edge? Would love to know! Other than tooling up one small enough to fit the Edge or custom making one yourself, I don't know that it would be possible to modify an existing one to fit an Edge. You would have to shorten the grill by quite a bit to get it to fit the Edge. Great idea though. I wonder if you took a standard edge grill and painted it black, removed the blue logo and found a way to take the ford letters off the raptor grill and a pply them - if that would work? Hi Coyote. :D That picture is simply a Photoshop, supplied by frozennuts, of a Raptor grille on an Edge. No one we know of has actually performed that modification. So how much work would it be for someone to do it for real? It would be a custom job. Someone would need to purchase the grille, cut it to fit properly, fabricate mounting hardware etc. etc.. It could certainly be done by someone with the fabricating skills, but generally speaking, if they think it is worth the time and money, most people would probably be better off paying a shop to do it. mclellan83 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 I was just thinking about this because i love the look of my sport grill now that i got rid of the chrome on the headlights and hood but the ford chrome emblem is bugging me. I think this would look great but dont know that i want to chop up my new bumper, i think thats the only way to do it right.
