amakia
Has anyone found a good after market cargo cover for the 2011/2012 Edge or come up with a good solution? A few months ago when this topic was brought up some members said they were just using a blanket to cover items in the cargo area. Also, some folks had modified the weird Ford OEM cover using Velcro. Hopefully some smart person out there has come up with something that looks good and provides adequate visual security.
wlepse
I did post a link to an Ebay auction for one coming out of China that looked promising but they couldn't supply pics of it mounted in an 11 so I passed. But I have seen them relist it. Looks pretty nice, has a retractable cover and on the seat side has a split that allows you to individually recline each side. The only thing I didn't like was you have to screw mounts into the plastic sides. If I knew it fit right I would get it though.

The Outrage
Ford's OEM cargo cover is a piece of garbage. I ordered my Edge with the Cargo Accessory Package. The cargo cover has a horrible fit, is installed using ridiculous means, and looks awful once in use. I removed mine almost immediately after purchasing the Edge. For such a nice car, it is a shame. What are you using to hide items in you're cargo area. I use a blanket but don' t feel it helps much. PhantomX
I'd love to have one in case I do a new sub box that isn't stealth or when we are out for the day and we throw stuff in the back like the wife's purse or my laptop, you know how the old saying goes out of sight, out of mind. Just makes for a bit more privacy.
jrunde
Yes, I purchased the cover, but when I received it, it was missing the mounts for it. I contacted the person I bought it from, but since it is Chinese New Year, it will be a couple of weeks until I get the mounts for it. I am particularly interested on how it is installed and how the structure attaches to the side panels. Photos would be great!!
scythe1969
Add me to the list, I'd like to find a well made alternative to the Ford item. Pictures would be most appreciated.
