whiteedge
While using the Nav System I have noted that some streets/roads are different colors, and some even "pulsate". Can anyone guide me to a resource that will tell me what the colors mean? Some roads are gray, some are violet, some green, and then some are yellow. It's not like driving on a divided highway and having the opposing lanes show in red, that I understand...but all of those colors have me wondering. I doesn't seem to make a difference if the Nav is guiding me to a destination or I just have the Map Screen on.

Highway versus main road versus small other road???? I noticed it recently too and was trying to figure it out - also the different colors on the sides, green/white/black? City/State/Federal? whiteedge
I'd guess you're right but I'm still wondering what the colors mean. On maps and cartography, colors and symbols mean a specific thing and there is a Legend that explains these things. Too bad we can't get a precise answer. The blocks of color to the roadsides do refer to public lands (Forest Circus, BLM, etc.) and private property. This I've figured out.
