DF2161 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Share Posted January 2, 2012 Hi everyone, I currently have an iPhone 3G (yeah, one of the originals, I think lol) but it works beautifully with my 2011 Edge Limited. I would like to upgrade to the new iPhone 4S but I'm hesitant because I hate to mess with a good thing! For anyone who has the new iPhone 4S, have you had any problems with it working with your Edge? My iPhone 4s works ok but it's hard to say when the MFT is so flakey. There's an update to MFT coming out in a month or so. Everything will change .... No, my contact photos have never worked. At first I was disappointed at that because I'd love to have the pictures work but it doesn't bother me that much now. Maybe someday they will get them working. I don't know what operation system I have on the phone but it's the original lol. I was going to update the phone's OS to the new version but it said it takes hours so I will have to set time aside to do that. I noticed not long ago that at one time I used to hear the tone of a text message come through MFT but I don't hear that now. Doesn't really matter to me, though. But as far as the iPhone you currently have it is the 2nd iPhone. I believe the update only went back as far as the 3Gs not the 3G. There was iPhone(2007), iPhone 3G(2008), iPhone 3Gs(2009), iPhone 4(2010), & iPhone 4S(2011). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It doesn't take into account the buggy MFT. Features that "should" work...don't necessarily work.
