kenwowski
Hi everyone, I am a frequent viewer of this forum but this is my first post in awhile. I'm adding to my Lincoln family. I have a 2010 AWD MKX with 50k that has been flawless. My wife needs a new vehicle and she decided she wants a MKX as well. I am having a hard time deciding what color combo to get. White is out since we have one already. I am thinking earth metallic or mineral...maybe cinnamon. Would those of you with an 11' and up MKX mind posting pictures of your vehicles? What interior color does everyone like? Thank you! -Ken
Scorpio
Not an MKX, but have some pics of my "mineral grey" Edge at http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/8282-2012-edge-limited-awd/page__p__66131__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=66131 It's not a common colour, and seems easy to care for - works for me! kenwowski
Wow! It looks great! It almost has a slight touch of green in it. How do you like it so far?
Scorpio
Very, very happy with the car overall. Zero/zip/nada MFT "issues", ride is very comfortable, and quiet as a churchmouse. The AWD (with winter wheels/tires) has carried me through some nasty weather, and all the bells and whistles still leave me with things to "figure out" LOL. The colour is hard to call a grey I agree, it's really hard to pin down - seems to have a slight colour shift depending on lighting, but again is very easy to maintain. JOEHIO
My new MKX is silver with black, loe it looks sharp. My wife has a '09 MKS, cinnamon in color, looks awesome, but a real pain to keep clean. Also, dark colors show even dust a lot faster then lighter colors. If it doesn't bother you that dark gets dusty/dirty quicker, cinnamon looks great, but if you are OCD like me go light. On the average, I was the wifes car at leat once a week, sometimes more, but yes, it does look sharp ! richy
I have black on black and I love it. Black or white are the only 2 I even considered. Here's a thread where I detailed it after taking delivery: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/6182-detailing-my-mkx/ Edited December 30, 2011 by richy
