e350 coupe
I need some help I have a 2012 Edge Limited FWD with 20" wheels I Purchased a new set of 2009 Ford Edge OEM wheels on ebay for $350 to be used as my snows. I will be using 245/60/18 instead of 245/50/20 tires to keep the overall Dia. at 29.6" The lug spacing on both is 5 on 114.3mm My problem is that these wheels are hub centric meaning they are supported by the hub and not the lugs, which would cause them to go off center and give you an unbalanced driving experience. I believe the 2009 wheels are a hub size of 70.5mm I DO NOT KNOW THE HUB SIZE FOR THE 2012 HUB ON MY LIMITED. I am looking for the hub size of the 2012 and also where I can get the correct hub centric ring adapters. Hoping for a quick reply before the snow starts this afternoon Tim from WhiteRock(s/w corner of Canada)

They do not list 2012 vehicles 2011 Ford_Truck Edge_SEL-_Limited Your Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3mm Your Hub Diameter: 70.6mm 2009 FORD_TRUCK EDGE_SE_-SEL_-LIMITED Your Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3mm Your Hub Diameter: 70.5mm Good Luck. wlepse
I don't think that is right...pretty sure from 2011 on they changed it to something like 63.5. But if you are unsure why don't you measure the wheels you have to verify?

This is not correct. The 2011+ Edges have a 63.4mm hub diameter. You can use the 2009 Edge wheels just fine with an adapter ring.
e350 coupe
thanks for the help everyone, now an even bigger problem, I cannot find an adapter ring anywhere, I tried ebay, jets, summit, even some sites where you enter the dimensions, however they reply with not available. I know the difference is 7mm between inside and outside so I was thinking of getting a ring for a 2000 altima which is 66.1 to 73.1 and cutting away 2.5 mm and using this. What do you guys thinks of doing this thanks again tim

ls973800
Up through 2010, Ford used a 70.5 mm or 2.77 inch hub opening. The TPMS sensors also operated on a different frequency and were attached to the wheel with a band. On 2011 and newer, the hub opening is 63.4 mm or 2.5 inches. The TPMS sensors are attached to the valve stem body with no band and use a different frequency than 2010 and older. The sensors will not interchange from what I have been told. All years do use the 5 X 4.5 or 114.3 mm wheel stud spacing.

davescott928
Does the hub bolt need to be removed in order to take your tire off?
