Winchester94
I'm trying to install the 7L2Z-19G364-AA remote start kit on my 2007 Ford Edge. I thought I wired up everything properly but nothing seems to work. The horn won't chirp, and the car won't start. I just hear a clicking noise from the remote start box. I was wondering if I wired the horn incorrectly. I tapped into a blue and white wire at the steering wheel harness, except there seems to be two blue and white wires on there. Maybe it's the wrong harness? I also seemed to have drained my battery. So I guess something must be wired wrong.
Winchester94
Ok, so I charged the battery and went through the procedure to program the starter again. This time it started up. The only thing that seems to work is the brake switch. The horn doesn't honk and the door doesn't lock. I thought I followed the diagram properly though. I guess my question is if anyone has an idea exactly which wires I need to tap into to make these work? BTW, I skipped the parking lights, since I didn't feeling like dealing with that. Looks like that was a good idea on my part.
