06allegro
I have set the speed compensated volume for 1 thru 7 and do not see any difference. Is 7 the highest setting? ie volume increase is greatest? Is the volume supposed to increase proportionally as speed increases? Again, I see no difference no matter what setting I choose....................
wlepse
Drive faster! J/K...I think I have ours set to 2 and I can hear it increment on occasion but haven't really paid attention to be honest. I do believe that 7 is the highest (ie will change sound level the most). But what I haven't been able to confirm is if it also increment the other voice settings. It doesn't seem to change the voice prompts for nav but they come up so infrequently that I can't be sure. It should be noticeable (on 7 especially).

Waldo
The point is that it is supposed to compensate for the extra noise as you drive faster. So if you don't notice the radio getting quieter, then it is working.
