NatG Posted December 3, 2011 Report Share Posted December 3, 2011 Owner's manual states that Quiet start makes the Engine idle higher on a remote start, which should reduce surging and warm up the car quicker. Probably wastes more gas, though. Exactly - I've tried both just for shits and giggle, difference in idle speed seems to about 300rpm or so. Have it on the low rpm setting now.
