exodus
What is the best kit for HID's on this truck. I have previously have been using Notto SE from carid.com for my previous cars. But they say that the bulbs need to be modified to fit. What kits are you guys using? I have been hearing about retro solutions what would be the correct kit to get from them. I am looking for a kit that doesn't need to be modified. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. thanks

I had an issue for a while where the driver side bulb would fire and then turn off, but that seems to have resolved itself (not sure if that's an indication of a problem with the ballast or the bulb). Never had a problem with the passenger side. As far as which kit, if the 2012 isn't listed, email or call them directly, I've had good luck with their support and answering questions. Other than that, the kit was pretty much plug and play with the biggest issue being where to actually mount the ballasts.
mmcclure
DDM Tuning 55Watt 9006 lamp with 6000 output! No mods needed and all for 64.00 delivered.
Edgieguy
I used the DDMTuning kit as well. 55W 5000k 9006 slim digital ballast. Love it. When I got mine in Nov 2010 it was just $45. Seems it went up a little like everything else nowadays, but still a bargain compared to others at nearly twice the price. Ive never had a problem with any of their kits.
