Frisco1522
I've noticed my 2012 Edge under a light throttle has a long shift time from first to second. Wonder if that's programmable out? Not so bad under moderate throttle but still there. Seems worse when it's cold. "Back in the day" I would have said the clutches were slipping. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
FWD or AWD? Check transmission fluid level, check underneath for any leaks (e.g., PTU seal/axle), and finally (if all checks out OK), see if you can get a PCM update for your Edge. Mirage52
FWD. Brand new, under 600 miles. Ā It's been cold...like really cold. But I noticed it too when the weather warmed up. Ā More like a slow shift, with a hiccup.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
If there is a "hiccup" or a "bump" involved, then one of the TSB's (albeit for previous years) might apply. Something like TSB 13-3-18 or 11-5-6.

Please send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage (I've noted yours, Mirage52), and your servicing dealership. Mirage52
I may have spoken too soon. I didn't notice a sloppy shift today. It's going to get super cold here again so I'll pay attention to it and see what happens.
13edgesport08
I have this same issue with my 2013 edge sport under moderate throttle. My servicing is coming up so I'll add this to the other issues I want looked at
