jeffdelta
In the Columbus, Ohio area we have many HD Radio channels available. My issue is the station jumps back and forth between HD and regular FM radio. This causes the song to "skip". I do not know if it is my car or it is the radio stations. It happens to multiple stations, but not all the time. It does happen enough that I am finding myself turning off HD Radio to avoid the "skipping". Has anyone else experienced this? wlepse
I don't have HD radio but do have occasion source changes with MFT. Do you notice this with any other sources or just when you listen to HD?
choff1138
I would guess that this is a signal strength issue with the stations - it could be the antenna on the car too I guess. We only have one HD station up here that I know of and it isn't music I listen to much, so don't stay on it. All and all, I guess I am not much help. rwolson
MIne jumps back and forth too. I suspect it's signal strength related and frankly, never thought about investigating why the problem occurs
Dingo
It's signal strength. I've had HD radio for 5 years in three vehicles. I know exactly the areas where I will have that problem.
richy
In the Detroit area, WCSX (94.7) has an incredible HD station. Their programming is awesome and I listen to it all the time. Weather (rain or a lot of clouds) does seem to affect it somewhat. This was a big plus for me getting the MKX. My wife's new Durango does not have it and I miss it when I'm in her vehicle.
