BURR
HAS ANYONE TRYED H& R lowering springs on your edge? If so what kind of ride differance did you notice?
Dingo
Yes. I actually like the ride better. It's still smooth, but corners better with less body roll. Oh, and it looks much better.
Loosecannon
I Have them on my 2008 Edge as well. Look at pics in my album. As Dingo said,.. handles a ton better, with less body roll, but still a comfy ride. great investment. CAnnon
NWS Alpine
I am going to order some springs now that my edge is here. I've always done coilovers but there are none available that I know of without going custom race setup which I do not want.
Dingo
The fronts are coilovers. You just use a new coil and the stock over.

Like the KW V3 I had on my 650. Could adjust compression and rebound independently along with the height.
Dingo
I can design that and have it made for you, but you'd better be rich...
wlepse
Does anyone in the NNJ area have these installed? I think they look awesome but would really like to get a ride in one before taking the plunge.
The Outrage
What about matching the dampeners (struts) to the increased spring rate?
NWS Alpine
What about matching the dampeners (struts) to the increased spring rate? Would be ideal but there are no aftermarket struts that I know of for the 2011-12 edge. The sport is suppose to have a sport tuned suspension but not sure if it has a different spring rate and struts or just spring rates. Should be fine on the stock struts as the drop is minimal. How about any changes to the camber?
nickp81300
I am considering this for my edge sport although I'd rather not have the body sit as low as my lincoln ls when i lowered it. I'm pretty sure there would be more clearance on the edge since its already much higher. Have you had any clearance or camber issues? Thanks!
