I took my 2008 Edge to a Ford dealership for a noise; sounded not right when going from low speed to high speed. They charged me $95.00 diagnostic fee and said my LF wheel bearing needed replaced.

They charged me $271.33 to repair. I might add that I just moved here to SC, and don't know this dealership. I was back in OH for a visit, and went to the Ford dealership where I have dealt with them for over 38 years. They told me that should have been replaced under powertrain warranty. Sure enough on Page 11 in my warranty guide, it says they are covered. I called Ford Motor Company, they said it was covered too. Now them, I heard nothing from the dealership. I called Ford again...they finally got the service manager to "look into it" and he called and will have an answer in 24 hours??? What is to look into? Clearly stated it is covered! Might I add that i have spend a total of $1532.00 there in the last month? If this is todays' "service, I may have to give up on owning Fords!

It's one dealer - not all of Ford. I'm sure they'll resolve it soon.
