snaik69
I know its been asked before....however the responses have been somewhat inconclusive. I would love to hear from earlier model year owners of chrome clad wheels about how they held up through salty winters....? i have a 2011 and this will be the first winter....its a lease so im on the fence as to whether i should swap them out for winter rims.....would rather not due to cost but by the same token, i would not want to have to spend at lease end to replace my corroded/destroyed chrome clad cheap-ass ford wheels... igcitng
Mine are fine. A little corrosion on the aluminum part of the rim. I have a 2008.
richy
Mine is 11 months old. They are holding up great. I have coated mine with CQuartz and have then recently (a month or 2 ago) topped them with Permanon. They shed water and dirt like crazy.
