donky4444
I got my wife a 2008 MKX in Ice Blue last month. It has the dual sunroofs black leather with tan piping heated and cooled seats sync and adaptive headlights. I have changed the low beams and fogs to hid's. I am having some pulsating in the lights and I am assuming its from going with the cheap kits. I am going to replace them with some from dim tuning and hope that fixes them. We love the car so far. It has 22,000 miles on it when we bought it. It was a FL leased car and is under factory warranty until Feb 2012. We bought the Ford extended bumper to bumper warranty that goes until Fen 2015 or 100,000 miles.
ablb
Greeting and welcome. 22K what a find, we have 54K almost trouble free miles on ours. 1 leaking shock, must be from the same batch that was on my friends “perfect” Honda! 1 gripe but not MKX specific, our BMX trade-in also had memory seats that were confused about which key was being used. You might check the ground you used for the HID’s. ab

I had them in my previous car (headlights and fogs). If the auto headlight feature was turned on, a headlight or fog light was always hit or miss. I changed out the ballast on the culprit light/circuit and it stopped for a few months. Then the other side would act up. I swear that those cheap Chinese made kits are the worst. You might want to invest in a higher quality or you'll be alternating ballasts a lot. I've changed each ballasts once in a two year period... I dealt with it only because I could get the ballasts fairly cheap and I got accustomed to projected Xenon light... I think this time I'm going for something more reliable. Good luck Edited November 8, 2011 by Lincwitsync
