EdgeGermany Posted October 26, 2011 Report Share Posted October 26, 2011 Hi folks, I placed my order for a 2011 Ford Edge Sport AWD end of June 2011. The right car was found quickly in PA, but the shipping to Germany and all the additional things are frustrating. It started with the title, which took me 6 weeks to get it. Now the car arrived one week ago in Germany, but it still didn't passed German customs. I don't believe that it will happen this year. If I could, I would cancel my order and buy a f**king European car. I almost know all the articles and youtube videos about the Edge, and I am ready for it's delivery. Not clear if you bought the car from someone in the states and are handle the importing yourself or if bought through Ford or a car dealer in germany. If the latter, you should have some option of cancelling the sale - not without some cost incurred I am sure - or at the least being reimbursed for the delay.
