MelissaRobinsonPhillips
After having my 2011 Edge for almost a month the touch screen has gone blank and won't come on. It had the latest 2.11 update so the dealer has never seen this problem. It appears that in some way the screen still works because touching around on it I was able to make by phone "redial" but the audio functions are turned off and won't come on with the manual buttons on the console or steering wheel. Has anyone else seen this?
jwallace410
Yeah try pulling the fuse out, and putting it back in. i believe its a 20 amp fuse and its number 29, double tap by looking in the manual, that should fix a frozen screen. does for me. 2011 edge
richy
Your other option is to disconnect the battery for a minute and reconnect it.
EdgeOwner11
Ford did a great job engineering the Edge, but screwed up big time by putting a bug-infested Sync system into each one. Who wants to spend $30,000+ and pull a fuse or remove the battery terminal every other day? This is why I was reluctant to buy a Ford.
