PrinzII
Now, I am not just getting wind noise, but also my conversations are periodically cutting out due to the wind noise. Dealer is aware of it. Going to suggest the Dynamat thing to the dealer.
Spaceman Spiff
For what it's worht, I have been speaking to Ford of Canada's escalation department over this for the last couple of weeks. The gentleman I spoke to, talked to some other department and got back to me. He says that Ford is aware of the problem. They figure it's a software issue. They are supposedly working on it and it should be fixed on the next "Global Update" expected to come out before the end of the year. flynn2013
I also stuffed some foam under the head liner and helped a bit. Brandon302 on the Mustang forum suggested turning off the speed compensating volume control. It made an enormous difference. I was going to update the software but not so sure now. JOEHIO
Who would have thunk it was due to speed compensating volume. I'm sure that many will be thankful form your post. I keep mine low, so I guess this is why I haven't experienced any problems.
flynn2013
I saw Brandon302 on the Mustang Forum turned off the Speed Compensating Volume Control. I did that and stuffed some foam under the head liner. The volume control was the real fix. Big improvement. I can; however, believe that the dealer does not have a clue. I pray we never have a real problem with this car.
flynn2013
Sorry for the second post. When I opened this on the wife's IPad it did not come up right away. Silly Pad!
Spaceman Spiff
G'day, I thought I posted on this previously but looks like I didn't. Anyway a few months ago sync had major update with new nav data card (can't remember what version it was). After that update the call quality improved significantly to the point I don't hear the other people complaining about the call quality. flynn2013
I turned off the speed compensating volume control and loaded the newest software. It is fixed! 2013 Limited, I am happy with this fix.
