chgojoe
Can someone tell me what the new upgrades are for the 2008 Edge versus the 2007 Edge? Also what are the big differences between the 2008 Edge and the Taurus X. Thanks. Ford Rules!

jamers1
What exactly is the "One Touch Integrated Start" mentioned on page 2 of the 2008 ordering guide under standard equipment.
RayoVac
What exactly is the "One Touch Integrated Start" mentioned on page 2 of the 2008 ordering guide under standard equipment. "This feature lets the driver put the key in the ignition, turn it once and then let go – like electronic “start” buttons that are becoming common on luxury cars." The rest....cosi cosi.
redundant
Does anyone know if they made any improvements to the brakes? I would be surprised if they said they did because it would indicate the previous years brakes were not up to snuff.
Smiley
I am glad I too did not wait for the 2008. I do like the one touch window but thats me being lazy too. I don't think they show the Carbon Metallic for the 2008 color ? Now I am waiting till mid Sept to get my car !

I see the chrome rings around the temp controls and also a chrome strip on the steering wheel controls. Aside from the red stitching and red leather those are the only differences I see. 007
I also don't see any difference in the shifter.....I prefer less chrome, myself....and the red inserts in the seats.....kind of ghetto....

Indeed. Well said. All that stuff, along with chromed light-alloy wheels and white stitching on black leather, is just garish to me.

Edgy Girl
Indeed. Well said. All that stuff, along with chromed light-alloy wheels and white stitching on black leather, is just garish to me. All I have to say.. to each their own. In my opinon.. I don't like your rims.. I think they overpower the overall look of your Edge. I love my charcoal interior with the white stitching - I think its hip but subtle. As for the chrome rims, they are different... I like them.. I like the little bit of bling... Who knows, when my tires finally wear out, maybe I will replace them. Style is a personal thing.. so.. those are my 2 cents - (although I do agree the red inserts available - over the top for me)
