CraigPerrine
The radio in my 2008 Ford Edge SE will not accept cds, the line in is inop, the steering wheel audio controls are inop, and the Sync system is inop. What's wrong
fishx65
Sounds like a bad connection or blown fuse somewhere but this would not explain why the radio does not accept a CD. Maybe she just died. This would be a great time to upgrade to an aftermarket headunit with bluetooth and steering wheel control ability. If you wanna stay with the factory system there should be lots of them on E-bay. The basic Ford 6 disc MP3 headunit was used in a lot of Ford models. I, myself, would look to the aftermarket for a nice new headunit.
livingontheedge16
Maybe the Edge rejected a bad cd? What cd were you putting in the CD player? They usually won't accept celion Dion, Blondie, or Nsync.... Only like good music going in the player. I haven't heard of this sorry, like Fishx said, might be a good reason to upgrade!!
