Sync error code "10.10.2008" ??

I've never seen this before. Is your system still broke or did it reboot back to normal?

 

"Good Morning New User" ??

 

 

The system comes back and everything works, but it has done this "10.10.2008" 3 times now. I can't get to the dealer until next week but they know that I am NOT HAPPY!

I listen to usb music most often and I noticed the other day, just before the "10.10.2008", that the music would cut out for a few seconds and then continue. I thought it was the sd card in a usb converter device but now I'm thinking it is the Sync system itself.

 

Yes, seeing "Good Morning New User" is a bit unsettling but the bluetooth phone came back. I don't use the next-to-useless nav system so I haven't checked to see if it has lost my home location...

Contents of an email received from Ford.

 

"I apologize for the issue that you are having with the My Ford Touch system in your vehicle. I have done the research and show that you have a very outdated version of the SYNC system installed. The most current version would be Gen2 2.11, and you are running Gen2 2.3. There has been an update released to your local dealership to correct the problems that you are having. I would highly suggest that you contact your dealership to set up an appointment to have Gen2 2.11 installed."
