desireep
I need help! I want to use my 4th generation classic Ipod in my 2011 Ford Edge, but I am not sure what to purchase to use it. I saw a model that the My touch website is selling through a separate company but the price is extremely high. I am looking for a part thats at an economical price (25 or lower) and that will not give any problems.

Dingo
Try the other port, or try again. I've tried my iPod Photo, and 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th gen nanos. All of them work if used with the right cord.

Thank you for your help so far
Dingo
Depends on the iPod. For the iPod Photo and the 2nd and 3rd gen nano, it was one cord, and a different one for the others. Just use the one that came with it to verify that it works before experimenting with different cords.

fletcher
Has anyone gotten a 4th gen ipod to work in their edge? When I plug mine into the usb it says 'this usb device is not supported'. Same with my Zune 30.

Scorpio
Mine works fine with the combo USB/AV input cable - plays&loads vids/song including playlists etc.
