My stereo is unavailable

Hi, I have a 2011Edge with the Touch Screen Sync system, No GPS, though. Since yesterday, my stereo is not even an option on the touch screen to turn on. If I hit the master power button on the rotating volume knob it makes the initial sound like it's about to come on, but nothing happens. I checked the fuses for both the stereo and the amps along with a few others but they all seemed fine. Any help would be highly appreciated.

You might try pulling fuse 35, wait a few minutes and then replace it, then start the vehicle. Or, disconnect the negative battery terminal, wait a few minutes and then reconnect it, then start the vehicle. That will force a cold boot of the system.

I appreciate the quick reply... Before checking back for a reply I ended up syncing my iPhone to it via Bluetooth and then ran the vehicle diagnostic. I didn't have an account established so I wasn't able to get a system report back but the car still ran a bit test which seemed to fix the problem. What happened to the days of an on and off switch right? Ha

I have had the 8" screen go blank, nav system failure and phone connectivity issues. Each one was resolved by resetting fuse 29. I leave the fuse covers off now.
