jimmkx2k11
Hello, I'm aware of the autolock feature when you are in the vehicle and drive away but... Is there a way to have the vehicle autolock all doors after I put it in Park and exit the vehicle with the fob in my pocket? I believe GM calls this passive locking and I like it. Thanks
Hankster
Anythings possible when you have money. The answer would be no.
richy
It was doing that to me when I had the autolock feature turned on and I didn't like it so I turned it off.
rajtech113
or press the last two keys on the drivers door external keypad at the same time, locks all doors if the key is not in the car.

It will lock your keys in there too. I leave my IA fob hidden in there if I go swimming or something.
jimmkx2k11
Thanks. I could also touch the outside of the door handle to lock that car but... I would need to remember to do either of these things. An automatic lock system would be better. Thank again. or press the last two keys on the drivers door external keypad at the same time, locks all doors if the key is not in the car. Well, if you really want the feature and find out that it cannot be programmed in, know that you could have it accomplished with a couple relays and a capacitor or timer. OR buy an aftermarket alarm with the feature built-in. Are you electrically inclined? or are you looking for someone to install something for you? jimmkx2k11
Thanks for the info. I am not electrically inclined. I'm used to this autolocking feature and now must remember to lock the vehicle. Maybe this will be a factory feature in the future. I came here for the same question because it wasn't locking. Edited October 8, 2011 by ELation
