songy
Yesterday I put over 200 miles on my 2008 Edge with interstate driving. I noticed a roaring coming from the rear of the vehicle. My friend drove the car with me in it the day before and asked me if I'd noticed the noise before and I said, "NO". During my drive home yesterday, the roar seemed to get louder. Any ideas what is going on?

Any ideas what is going on? Wheel bearing? I think I have the same problem. It's fairly common - try the search function.
JOEHIO
Had a similar situation with my 06 Explorer. didn't start making noise until I hit 65 mph. Turns out that it was the right rear wheel bearing, covered under the extended warranty I have on the car. All now ok.
