ScarlettB
So our 2008 SEL has those kinda rare aluminum wheels that are not chrome plated. Recently I discovered a 1-2 inch long scratch along the outer edge of the rim, which appears to be rather from a curb contact than a balance weight... see photo. I'd like to take care of that spot before the winter and salt take their toll on it. I asked the dealer but Ford does not have any touch-up pen or spray in that platinum like rim color. Which already gets me to my wits end as far as doing it myself, if there isn't even a professional way to match the color. Does anyone have a suggestion for a rim doctor or someone who is specialized in repairing damaged rims in central IL? Thanks a lot.
