Dingo
So I ordered a Sport, and I hate chrome. I further hate that the only chrome on it is at the top of the headlights and across the top of the grille. Holy out of place, Batman! Well, there is no paint-to-match option from Ford and I don't feel comfortable painting chrome on the nose. I found a fairly new fake carbon fiber film that I considered putting over it. I ordered some to play with and see personally. My wife has a Civic, so I thought, "Hey, it's already a ricemobile. Why not use it for a guinea pig?" Here's where I did her grille emblem tonight. Any thoughts?

shantz
I painted the chrome grille on my 2011 Ltd. If its prepped right, and painted using the right process and adhesion promoters there shouldn't be any issues. I've got 6000K on mine now, and haven't had so much as a single rock chip.
