Lex Talionis
you might consider a set of fold away tie downs like we have been talking about here. if so, you would just put ABS plastic hooks from a camping store like REI (or even baby carabiners) on the cargo cover side on those loops, and connect those to a more stout and flush mounted fold away tie down. 08LTDEDGE
Has anyone thought of using a retractable cover that was actually made for a different vehicle? If you measure the width of what would be required in the Edge and then take a look around at used cars or autowreckers to it may be easy to determine that one already exists for another vehicle that could be transplanted into an Edge
Lex Talionis
I really think that would be such a long shot. finding a similar width, than how to mount to a car with no mounts/brackets in place, but even dramatically harder to find, a similar profile with curves and such in the same place. I suppose it would be 'possible' but highly improbable. believe me, I am a big believer in modding stuff and retrofitting, but this one might be a rough one to pull off.
