Tbaker
Hello, new member to the forum. I have an '08 Edge SEL. The radio increases in volume while pushing the decrease button on the steering wheel. So far I haven't found a TSB or Oasis message on this. I haven't been to the dealer either. Anyone else have this problem?

Tbaker
This typically points to the clock spring in the steering wheel. So does this mean I would have to pull the air bag and steering wheel to check the clock spring? Your talking about the sliding contacts between the steering wheel and steering column, correct? Your talking about the sliding contacts between the steering wheel and steering column, correct? If it's the clock spring then yes, you have to remove the steering wheel to replace it. It's not guaranteed but that's the most likely culprit.
hose902
TBaker, did you get this fixed yet? My wife's 09 SEL does the same thing, and pressing the Volume Up skips tracks/stations rather than increasing volume. She had it at dealership once but at that time it was not acting up. Of course now it is back and her warranty is expired (long drive to work!)
