Brake job (front & rear)

I want to perform a brake job on my 2009 Edge (pads & rotors). Anyone know if the rear caliper pistons need that special tool (screw & press in) or is it a standard piston type? Any replacement recommondations for better brake feel (no new braided lines for me) ?

I'm sure they do since the parking brake is still integrated. Get the more expensive NAPA dedicated Ford tool, not the universal cheap one.

I was thinking the same thing but saw this DIY;

Looks to be a regular C clamp used on a standard piston. Wasn't sure if someone here had first hand knowledge

That's the right rear - the parking brake may only be on the driver's side but I really don't know. I would just get the tool to be safe - it's not that expensive.
