jscavo
I want to perform a brake job on my 2009 Edge (pads & rotors). Anyone know if the rear caliper pistons need that special tool (screw & press in) or is it a standard piston type? Any replacement recommondations for better brake feel (no new braided lines for me) ? Edited June 7, 2011 by jscavo

Get the more expensive NAPA dedicated Ford tool, not the universal cheap one.

I was thinking the same thing but saw this DIY; http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Ford-Edge-Rear-Brake-Pads-Replacement-Guide/index.html Looks to be a regular C clamp used on a standard piston. Wasn't sure if someone here had first hand knowledge

Wasn't sure if someone here had first hand knowledge That's the right rear - the parking brake may only be on the driver's side but I really don't know. I would just get the tool to be safe - it's not that expensive.
