Fingernip
I just noticed my first real complaint with my car. The dew wipes on all 4 doors are always loaded with pollen and junk. They also dont actually even contact the window enough to wipe dew from the windows. Is this common with 2011 models or an isolated defect. I have never had a vehicle with that problem and currently own 3 fords.

Fingernip
"Pollen and Junk"? Boy, maybe you should wash your car... Washing the car does not help the slightest bit. It only takes a few hours for tree junk to accumulate on the car and eventually in the sweeps. It all gets trapped in the felt portion and even with the window down is difficult to clean out. Im afraid that if so much is making it onto the felt surface of the sweeper that alot must be getting in the door as well. I need a picture of the sweepers on another 2011 to see if mine are defective.

However, I did see that when the windows are all the way down the junk can be vacuumed out rather easily. And today when I took my car to the hand wash they blew out the junk with the air hose. good luck.
Limited59
I noticed this as well (although my Terrain wasn't much better) but I just clean them out with the pressure washer at the car wash. I'm more worried about that same kind of 'junk' clogging up the Vista roof drains over time.
