tmbubell Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) Oh Man - I just knew things were going too good to be true Recap I have been posting in the form the progress of my Edge and my luck has run out. 1.Told 10-13 weeks to get my Edge ( Arrives in 6.5 Weeks) :happy feet: 2. Ordered March 20,2011 3. VOC & VIN Recieved March 22, 2011 4.Window Sticker April 4, 2011 5.Production started April 11, 2011 6. On a rail Car to West Coast April 18, 2011 7. 3/4 of the way home April 25, 2011 8. Arrives at dealer May 3,2011 9. Ford PDI May 3 2011 10.Protection package installed May 4, 2011 Luck Runs out. 11. Edge picked up from undercoaters by lot personel, no one thinks to check if it is 100% dry before driving off in the pouring rain: Disaster 12. They are still cleaning the Edge up, the yellow stains were down the side of the Edge, but I got there after they started to clean it up 13. May 5, 2011 Pick up Cancelled 14. Long ago we would have it done, NOT for corrosion but for noise deadening. richy Posted May 6, 2011 Report Share Posted May 6, 2011 Stoner's Tarminator will get the undercoating off. Follow up with a soft clay bar. Use Duragloss 501 either by hand or a medium pad on a DA and your white paint will jump and glow. DG 501 is incredible on white paint!
