beemer freak
So I've had a 2011 Ford Edge Sport since january and the bluetooth worked perfectly fine. However for the last few days i have not been able to get my phone to connect with sync. Every time i hit connect it says bluetooth off, would you like to turn it on or something like that and it keeps searching for my phone but never connects. When i tried to repair my phone right when it says to search for sync it goes straight to connection failed. Anyone else have similar problems with bluetooth? jjmorris64
Yes, I am currently having the exact same issue. Had my Edge since Nov 10. No issue with phone connecting via bluetooth until a week ago. Not sure if this caused it, but two weeks ago I played mp3s (stored on my Android phone) via the Bluetooth Stereo option on Sync for the first time. Did this a few times w/ no problem. Then last week the Bluetooth connection issue started. Bluetooth is defaulting to "off". I am unable to turn it back via the System menu or when I attempt to reconnect the phone. k1200rsport
What version are you guys running V2.4, V2.7, V2.8. I had this issue with I-phone on V 2.4. I had to sync it with itunes and then remove sync off the I phone and also delete phone off of sync. And reconnect, since then no issues. Hope this helps.
