lasersib
I have a 2011 Ford Edge SEL with the keyless entry and noticed ford offers an alarm module that can be installed to work with the keyless entry. The dealer quoted $350 to install the module, was wondering if anybody had installed one and what was involved.

If you have installed any aftermarket Headunit or alarm, you should have the skills necessary. Removing parts of interior, identifying wires, splicing, etc. This would be the one I believe: http://www.partscheap.com/Ford-Edge-Vehicle-Security-System-p/7l3z-19a361-aa-e09.htm I downloaded the instructions somewhere, but I can't find them right now. Basically, you have to tap 1-2 dozen wires and then find a location for the unit. PM me if you need help finding the instructions and I'll try looking at home.
