stallion1647
I have a 2007 Ford Edge and i just moved to Germany, however when i put on the German long plates on the rear of my Edge, the two lower holes are still showing with the plate holder that i have currently. Does anyone know where i can buy a conversion plate or a larger euro plate holder that will cover all four of the US holes on the rear of my Edge. jdf77
Hey there I'm looking for the same thing as you do just for my swiss number plate. I think for EU numberplates I found something even the explanation on there page is not really helpfull and the price quiet high. http://www.hscardesign.de/hscd/index.php?cat=c4_US-Fahrzeuge.html It says "Bei Bestellung Abmessung angeben!!" (=indicate measurement at order) - so I guess they will be able to help you if you contact them
WPNZ
I have a 2007 Ford Edge and i just moved to Germany, however when i put on the German long plates on the rear of my Edge, the two lower holes are still showing with the plate holder that i have currently. Just remove the square black parts that the screws go in, on the bottom. Put a few pieces of self sticking foam or felt pads underneath the bottom edge of the plate to stop it from hitting the paint. Find some hole plugs on ebay or amazon and put over the square holes. Edited May 13, 2011 by WPNZ
rajtech113
Or screw in a couple of "FORD" button emblems/screw caps.
Cellbine
I'm sure you all found a solution, but I bought some for my car in Ramstein, Germany. Let me know if you still need them, they are pretty cheap. I'll have to check on the price though. PM me if you need one, we will talk. frozennuts
I found this option for my Edge when I brought it back to Finland. http://www.kilpipaja.com/paja/Taustalevyt.html The one you will require is the long plate plate.bmp I also used one on the front as I previously did not have a front licence plate.
