luscombedude
I have a 2008 Ford edege AWD and the cooling fan stopped working, does the block it plugs into control the electricity going to the fan or is there another source to tell the fan to operate. I am hoping the fan motor went bad, but would like to hear if anyone else has had this problem and the best way to fix it. Thanks for your help. I am hoping the fan motor went bad, but would like to hear if anyone else has had this problem and the best way to fix it. Thanks for your help. Update, I replaced the relay on the fan assembly. The relay cost well over $300.00 from ford, it didn't work. I finally found a complete replacement fan assembly fro Autozone that included the relay for under $280.00 and it went in in 15 minutes with very few tools. It worked great and the assembly has a lifetime gaurantee. Good luck on yours.
