anr
What brand of tires did Ford install on your MKX/Edge? I was surprised to find Michelins on my MKX. Model of tire is the Latitude Tour HP; Ratings of tires are: tread wear=440, traction=A, temp=A. I was expecting Continental tires. Glad I received the Michelins. Inquiring minds would like to know. Regards.
818EDGE
On our Edge Sel Plus we have Continental "Cross Contact" 245x60x18 M&S. Those are on the factory chrome rims.

Houndkeeper
Continentals on my Edge SEL Plus.....18". Would have loved to have the Michelans. I had Continentals on my 2004 Mazda Tribute and had to replace them 16k miles in. I was not happy.
sim
Will be checking around when the conti's eventually wear out what other options there are available such as the michelin's. Is it a standard MKX thing to have the M's vs the Conti's on the Edge?

Is it a standard MKX thing to have the M's vs the Conti's on the Edge? I think the Conti's were standard on both originally. They must have added the Michelins sometime in the last few months. Unless this was a dealer swap.

Unless this was a dealer swap. Nope, not a dealer swap. MKX was delivered from the factory with the Michelins - I was at the dealer when the vehicle was unloaded, since I only live five minutes away. The G.M./Sales Manager called me the minute the convoy truck was in the parking lot.

I had Continentals on my 2004 Mazda Tribute and had to replace them 16k miles in. I was not happy. That was my thought too, then I went to tirerack.com and read the reviews on the Continentals. Looks like the reviews say they are very good tires
