Theakerr
I have an AWD Ltd with duel temperature control. When the temperature is lowered significantly on one side (Say drivers side set at 23C and Passenger set at 19C) heat (high) will sometimes start coming from the drivers side upper vents. When the passenger side is set to the minimum (16C) high heat always comes from the drivers side vents. The reverse is also true. When the temp setting is on the single mode there does not seem to be a problem. The dealer says this is a design problem due to sensor position and that ford are aware of it but nothing can be done. Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I being fed a load of you know what? I do not remember this issue with my 2008 Ltd AWD, but it could also be that the situation did not crop up.
